Another XP problem - Administrative Tools

In Disk Mgmt under Admin Tools, when I click on
properties for a HDD, then click "Volumes," there are no
entries in the window. Clicking "Populate" brings up all
the correct info, but the next time I go to "Volumes" the
window is blank again. What's up with that?

This is correct, it does it to all 2K/XP PC's.
