I am trying to import some .mpg files into Movie Maker....I get the error
message "C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXX\My Documents\My Videos\Barton Rocks

events from"

I'm using XP Home, Movie Maker Version 2.1 (Service Pack 2 for XP installed)

This sounds like a problem with the mpeg decoder installed on your machine.
You might try installing a different mpeg decoder.

Hello,

That sounds as though you are trying to import an MPeg file. MOvie Maker can't
cope with them, and often cant cope with MP3 and sometimes JPeg...the solution
is to convert video to AVI, audio to WAV and stills to Bitmap (BMP)

If you do not have a video converter you can go to my website click on GREAT
LINKS > KNOWLEDGE BASES > VIDEO HELP where you will find the best resource
anywhere on converts
