Another AIW800XT problem -- static in TV sound

Ok, another issue. When I watch TV, I get a great deal of background sound.
Oddly, I don't seem to have to send the audio to my sound card via the line
in (like my old AIW), but the sound is unlistenable. You can hear the
correct sound in the background, but the static is far louder. Help?

Search ATI's Knowledge Base for "static".
The audio is digital(wave) now.

Well, after fighting with the MMC a bit more, the latest version 9.15 seemed
to solve it. Chalk up another oddity, which is not news to me. This is my
3rd AIW card, so I'm used to it by now.

Have an AIW X800XT, still using MMC 9.03 because I don't
want RECORD ON DEMAND (or OTR) automatically, when I just
want to watch TV in a window. 9.03 lets you click a button
to start hard drive recording. It's not automatic, just
because you open your TV window. ATI said they were going
to fix this in a future version of MMC. Didn't see it in
9.13 or 9.14. Didn't know there was a 9.15 until I read
your note. Thanks.

9.13 was the first version that didn't allow TVoD to be turned off. You
could use 9.08 or ,if you need Guide+, 9.06.1. Component and S-Video ports
can be toggled on newer versions(9.13-5), if that's a help. DTV doesn't seem
to read those settings very well though.
