ANNOYING COMMON CRASHES

Very often...(read daily) my computer perimeter flashes
black.. the letters go high contrast and then the screen
reverts to default bliss screen saver but with the "bliss
space music and recycle icon" .... This happened
occasionally before I installed the plus packs... but it
simply flickered black, high contrast and reverted to the
bliss default entirely. Can anyone explain, help or
stop this for me ... it's been going on for over a year.

You most likely have a video card problem. Try the latest driver but if it
continues it's time for a new card.

how do i find the latest driver??

I've found and updated the NVIDIA driver to version 6.
something and the same thing is happening.. if anyone
has experienced and fixed this problem please let me know.

I would unstall the screen saver and see what happens. Screen savers are
useless anyways and usually cause more trouble than they are worth.
