FreeRip is a free and easy-to-use application that can record digital audio
tracks directly
from audio CD to PC files. You can save CD audio tracks to CD-quality WAV
files or
encode them to OGG Vorbis or MP3 compressed audio formats.
Moreover FreeRIP can encode existing WAV files to Ogg Vorbis or MP3 format.
FreeRip also lets you adjust track volume and it supports Freedb and ID3
tagging.
FreeRIP includes a music Internet search bar.
It is a must have application to convert audio CDs to files to listen on
your PC or upload to your MP3 player.
This software is distribute as FREEWARE so it is free to use.

Appears to be adware, not freeware:

"Note: FreeRIP registered users will receive a registration code that
let them disable startup splash screen and advertisement links and
banners on the product windows."

FreeRip MP3 has always been adware.

The only difference between the ad's is, in previous versions it was a
banner, in the latest version it's apparently a "link" rather than the
banner.

Personally, I prefer my own custom built one anyway ;o)
