Hi,

A continuous text animation displays: "... click slide to continue ..."
over and over again.

User clicks and ... no next slide.

On click, I can make the animation stop, hide from screen etc.
But is there a way to make that click display the next slide.

I use PPt XP.

Thanks for advice.

Click on SlideShow, Slide Transition, are the slides set to Advance on Mouse
Click or is the box unchecked?

Hi Glenna,

The checkbox Advance on Mouse Click is on. This is how it works now:
- animation, animation, ... (the same text over and over again)
- click => animation stops / hides
- click => next slide

But I'd like it to be:
- animation, animation, ...
- click => next slide
Just because the animation text says: "Click slide to advance ..."

The animation must be set to Repeat "until end of slide" or "until next
click", meaning it takes a mouse click to stop the animation before
PowerPoint can execute the mouse click to next slide. Remove the repeating
animation and it'll fix it. Better yet, remove the statement altogether, I
think nearly everyone will click to advance the slideshow without a text box
telling them to.

Hi Glenna,

I tried 'until end of slide' as you suggested and *that does the trick*. At
least, almost
because ...
Well, never mind. I am gratefull for the solution. Somehow I never tested
that single
option in the list.

"... nearly everyone will click ..." You're quite right. But if ever you
come to Holland,
I'll introduce you to my partner ;-).
