Animation effects

Hello,

I need to include an effect in a presentation where a rubber date stamp
appears, stamps a date and then disappears. Does anyone know of a website
where this kind of effect is available or is it going to be a long night?

Hi,

Get an image of the stamp, path animation to bring it in, zoom smaller to
make it look like it is stamping, zoom back out, and then path animate off.
Plus have the stamp text appear *under* the stamp itself so it is left
behind.

Also, there is an effect in Crystal Graphics that does this. From what I
remember.

MarkN,
I have seen something similar on this wonderful site: look for the showcase
link.

If i recall this is a protected presentation, but maybe Shawn Toh himself
will jump in and help you out on how he has achieved it. When you click on
the link you will find another link to contact him.

Hi Mark,
You will need to insert a rubber date stamp image (or draw using an
autoshape).
Then, combine both motion path and Emphasis (Shrink) to create the
'stamping' effect.
When the effects are animated, add appear effect onto the date.
After which, combine motion path (you can have it leave the slide) and
Emphasis (grow) to lift the rubber date stamp up.
Feel free to email me at pptheaven[at]gmail[dot]com. I can send you the
unprotected copy.
