Animation doesn't work after activating previous action button

When I click the previous action button, the animation on the previous slide
doesn't work.

When I press the next button again, the animation on the next slide doesn't
work too.

Is there a way to get around this?

Appreciate advice.

If you going to be going back and forth between slides that have animations
or sounds then you need to put a blank slide with zero transitions before
all of the slides, and link back to it. Un fortunately the way it works now
when you go back to the previous slide, PowerPoint brings you in after
everything has happened.
