Animating MapPoint Maps within a PowerPoint Presentation

Is there a way to use animation within a Map oject (from MapPoint) within
PowerPoint? More specifically, I am wanting "drop in" multiple pinpoints
wihin a geographic area on a map.

You can place a MapPoint object (as you have done) -- add the pinpoints as
separate PowerPoint slide objects, and animate them individually as required
over the MapPoint object.
