with win98se i didnt have the following problem, it occurs since winxpHome
is on this machine...:
every single animated gif or flash anim is shown as a grey field, where
exactly in the middle it says: "Animated Picture"... some adverts ar not
adverts but are the same, except that they say "Banner" (in german, that is.
my whole system is german) or, in english prolly, "Advert", or something.
[translating german/english shouldn't be the topic, sorry]
in the inetcpl (advanced, Multimedia), animations are activated. flash,
shockwave, JRE, you name it, i installed it. well, actually just those three
I mentioned. have i forgotten anything?
those fields are anoying. in icq, instead of the Xtraz' symbol, it will show
..... well, something like those mentioned grey fields...
