animated logon picture

for xp logon screen, when accaunt is represented with picture and accaunt
name, is it possible te set up animated picture?
when changing picture, it is possible to select .gif, but at logon screen,
it is not animated?

Not with any of the tools that are part of XP. If someone has programed
3rd party software to do this I have not heard of it. You may try
searching google for the like.
