An interface has too many methods to fire events from error when importing

I am trying to import mpg clips which were captured from my S-Video camcorder. I captured them using an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 7500 at 720x480 resolution with the intent of buring them to DVD after editing. When I attempt to import them into Windows Movie Maker, an error is generated, "An interface has too many methods to fire events from" and the import is aborted

Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? Also, if this problem can be solved can someone recommend a DVD / MPG plugin so final clips can be stored in a format to be immediately burned to DVD

thanks!

Unfortunately most MPEG-2 decoders don't work very well with MovieMaker. To
use them in MovieMaker you're better off converting them to another format
first. See PapaJohn's website (http://www.papajohn.org) under Importing
Souce Files...Video... MPEG2
