Hi!
I have just installed the Outlook Business Contact Manager. But, I have no
idea what is happening---totaly lost. As soon as the program opens, I get the
error message starting as the Subject line, and continues..., "The file may
not exist, you may not have permission to open it, or it may be open in
another program. Right-click the folder that contains the file, and then
click Properties to check your permissions for the folder." Then, another
message saying: "The network connection has been interrupted. Please try
again later" would pop up three times. Does anyone know what THE MAJOR
MALFUNCTION, with whatever, may be? Thank you much in advance.

Hi,

What is the program listed in the title bar of the error message?
Are you running any other add-ins? To check that:
a. Start Outlook 2003.
b. On the "Tools" menu, click "Options".
c. On the "Other" tab,
d. Click "Advanced Options".
e. In the "Advanced Options "dialog box, click "COM Add-ins".
f. What, COM Add-ins are enabled?
g. Click OK - this returns you to the Advanced Options dialog
h. Click "Add-In Manager".
i. What Add-ins are enabled?

Where you ever prompted to use Business Contact Manager?
What are you using for e-mail (ie... POP3, Exchange etc..)?

Thanks!

Hi, Larry,

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, it took me a few days to work on it
because I am in the middle of moving. Here are the answers to your questions:

====================================
Q.f: Enabled "COM Addin" --> STAMP.COM ADDIN

Q.i: Enabled Addins in "Add-In Manager" --> OL CONNECTOR EXT., NOD32 EMON
(Anti-Virus Prgrm), EXCHANGE EXT. PROPERTY PAGE, FAX SERVER EXT.

Where have I been prompted to use BCM? --> Don't know, or haven't ?

What am I using for e-mail? --> MSN (2 accts) and Hotmail (1 acct).
Note: I have had a problem connecting to the extra account with MSN
before I installed BCM too.
==========================================

I appreciate your STEP-BY-STEP instructions and questions. I needed that. I
am new to Win XP.

Thank you!
