"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files."

I just started experiencing a problem working with a web
page local to my computer. When I attempt to import a new
file of significant size (1 MB) it won't do so although it
will import small files. It is not an issue of lack of
disk space or file permissions that I can detect. The
only error message FrontPage gives is:

"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files.
Authors - if authoring against a web server, please
contact the web master for this server's site."

Do you have any idea what is happening here?

Does this problem occur when you work locally on your PC (with a disk-based
web) and try to import files.

Or does the problem occur while you're uploading the site to a server (or
while working with a web that is opened live from the server)?

In the first case, I don't know what the problem is. In the second case:
some webspace Providers have limits when it comes to file sizes OR the
servers time out because the file uploads too slowly.

Hello Mark,

What type of file are you trying to import?

Thanks,
Jason
