If you're going to ask whether you should buy a more expensive part,
you should be prepared to spend the money. Nobody else is qualified or
wants to argue with whether you can afford it.

You sound like you got a real problem with someone asking someone's
opinion unless it's your own. You don't read between the lines, or on
them for that matter, very well either. Have a good life.

The difference was $30. I think part of the problem is JEH wasn't
prepared to pay for the higher price component he was asking about, so
there's not much point discussing the thing.

Maybe because JEH wasn't prepared to buy the better CPU anyway. Why
should anybody give advice to someone who isn't able or willing to
follow it.
