Alternative to MM2's crummy titles?

Am using MS Movie Maker 2, and having a title problem, would appreciate
suggestions.

When I insert a simple title at the front of the movie (click "Make titles"
"add at beginning" ), it seems to try to center the title vertically...I
can't push it to the bottom of the screen. Sure, you can adjust it
*horizontally* by specifying left, right, or center, but I would like to
make a title be at the very bottom-right. If I were using something like
Word, I'd just hit <return> a few times and the text would work its way down
to the bottom of the page...but that has no effect in MM2.

An earlier poster suggested "In the absence of title customization feature
the best workaround is to use your image manipulation software (such as
Windows Paint) to make your title screen and overlay it with a custom
transition." But...

I couldn't see how to do this, would someone know the click-sequence... or
have other alternatives to be able to better control titles

Thanks,
George

I think the behavior of titles is by design, to make sure they appear (and
don't get cut-off) on a variety of TV screens.

I will try to see if I can get the titles with your other suggestion
working. If I do, I will post back.

The title version listed as 'Subtitle' places the title at the bottom of
the frame. I haven't experimented with resizing test for subtitles yet....so
you may have to explore sizing options

good luck,
