Alt Edit Paste

I'm trying to send an e-mail, and I have copied something to the clipboard.
While in the e-mail, there is no Alt Edit Paste keyboard option like in all
previous versions of all Microsoft products

Why?

Version of Outlook?
Word or Outlook as the e-mail editor?
What options are there still in the Edit menu?

I don't know about Alt Edit Paste; I usually use CTRL-V - that should
work in any product.
