Alt Code Problem

aftamath77

A few of my co workers have been complaining that there alt codes haven't
been working. One of them swears that it has something to do with being
connected to the network here at work, that using alt codes for ASCII
characters at home won't work. I tried to explain that alt codes are always
present in Microsoft office. I haven't had a problem with them yet. Are
there certain presets in excel, word, or Microsoft office in general that
could "disable" alt codes?

Alt + code no. only works from the NumPad

Do not use the number keys above the qwerty keys.

Hi
Anyone using a laptop, it's different also.
You need to press and hold the [Fn] Key at the bottom beside Ctrl key and
the Alt key
then the numbers are small in blue in general on the letters
M,J,K,L,U,etc...etc..
