Allows network users to run my report

I have created a report in my .mdb file and I'd like to have other users be
able to run it. I want them to run it almost like an executable though.
They double click an icon, it give them the prompt and runs, but does not
give any other options within access. Just generates the report so they can
print it out. How do I do something like that?

In the database window, right-click the report, and select create shortcut.
The database has to be someplace accessible, and they have to have rights to
it. Send them the shortcut.

The problem with that is it still puts them in the mdb file once they open
it. I've seen mdb or mde files where you run it and it has a menu screen
that was designed by the creator and you are in access, but can't do anything
but use the particular application created.

If you really want to be restrictive, you could create an mde front end,
linking all the tables to the original that they don't have access to, and
then that mde just displays that report on startup.
