Windows XP SP2 users: if you encounter an error, look at the top of this page
for a yellow bar that reads "This site might require the following ActiveX
control: 'Java Plug-in 1.4.2_06' from 'Sun Microsystems, Inc.'. Click here to
install..." Click the yellow bar and choose "Install ActiveX Control..." to
allow installation to proceed.

We encountered an issue while trying to automatically install Javaâ„¢ software
onto your machine. As a result, Java software was not installed properly.

That is what it said to me when I went there... I am not good with computers
at all...

Hi,

Add that site to the trusted zone, or click on the small alert bar and allow
it to install the activeX control.

I am so sorry... I am not good with computers at all... I dont see the alert
bar or a yellow one.... Where is it located and how do I add it to a trusted
site?

Hi Cassie,

The alert bar appears just below the main header block in IE. If you place
your cursor near it, it should appear. You can manually add sites to the
trusted zone under tools/internet options/security tab. Click on the trusted
zone, then on "sites" and manually add it.
