All records show up instead of filtered one's by name

I have specified two parameter values for entry when opening a report
One is a name and you can choose it from a combo in form, the othe
is a pop-up parameter box and is a date. The name always has to b
chosen, but I wanted to have a case when nothing is entered in th
pop-up date parameter box, that all the records for the name in comb
show up unfiltered by date. Instead th

criteria Like [Enter Month & Year] and
Or [Enter Month & Year] Is Null

leads to all records for all names showing up in report, not al
records for selected name?

When a value is null the statement is not evaluated properly in access, go to
www.joshdev.com, they offer a tool that allows the creation of filters for
your reports for any of the fields used in the query, it may help you,
