All Day Appointments with Reminders

When creating an all day appointment, we would like to set the reminder to
days or weeks. Generally, 2 or 3 days is selected. However, when the
appointment appears on the calendar of the recipient the reminder always
reverts to 18 hours. I know this is the default for 'all day' events and we
have been using 'timed events' as a work around. But we would like to see
these reminders at the top of a calendar day rather than intermixed with
other appointments. How do we get Outlook to allow us to select (and keep)
any reminder time over 18 hours for an all day appointment. Thanks.

You can't - it is hard coded.
