I am using AntiVir Personal Edition Ver.6. Can anyone throw light on
the following? What is BackWeblite? What is this AlexaRelated.zip?
Is there any way I could find out?

You have guessed correctly, I am computer illiterate. That apart can
you help.

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Recovery
AlexaRelated.zip
ArchiveType: ZIP
NOTE! The whole archive is password protected
BackWeblite57.zip
ArchiveType: ZIP
NOTE! The whole archive is password protected

Thanks in advance.

Since you only provided the filenames for the .zip file (which its
creator can call whatever they want) rather than a listing of what it
contains, my guess is the AlexaRelated.zip has something to do with the
Related toolbar button in Internet Explorer (provided by Alexa). Using
it has it use Alexa and, I guess, it reports back some tracking info.
But then so does the Google toolbar *if* you configure it to use its
advanced features (Page Rank and Page Info). You can remove it using
anti-spyware scanners or you could simply customize your toolbar to not
display it anymore (and then configure your anti-spyware program to
ignore it).

If you went to Spybot's web site under their Support page and looked at
Threats to search on "alexa", you would have gotten 2 matches:

http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=threats&detail=174
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=threats&detail=290

If Spybot is repeatedly alerting on Alexa but you have removed it or
simply choose to hide it (if it still exists), and if you don't want to
see the alert anymore, configure Spybot's settings to exclude Alexa.

You can also search at Spybot's Threat page on "backweb" to see what
they say about it. Of course, you can also just go do a Google search
yourself to get info on these "threats" (http://www.google.com/).
