Aladdin eToken RTE 3.65 with Smartcard Resource Manager

I having problem with Aladdin eToken RTE 3.65 installation.

OS - Windows XP - SP2
Software - Aladdin eToken RTE 3.65
Hardware - eToken USB

After completing the installation of the Aladdin eToken RTE 3.65 when
I try to start the 'eToken properties' application I receive the
following error message: -

"Smartcard Resource Manager has been stopped.
The application will be closed.
You may launch the application again after restarting the Smartcard
Resource Manager."

The Smart Card service is running and there are no errors in the
Windows Event Logs.

Any suggestions how I can resolve this?
