AIW 9000 Pro TV on demand freezes

Anyone having this problem with the TV tuner in when the TV on demand
starts, the ATI splash screen will not go away and the controls for the
tuner freeze up so that the program must be ended with task manager ?
[although the TV program plays ] Am using ver 8.9 Any help appreciated..

Got FASTwrites enabled? Synchronous RAM in BIOS? Try this first -- I've a
2500+ w/512 as well and had issues NOT with it freezing, but using 100% CPU
and being REALLY slow, crashing, etc...

I'll stay tuned, but have you considered OC? I'm at 2200MHz (effectively an
AMD XP3200+) and my system, especially the MMC 8.9 on Cat 4.2, runs much
better, no crashes, no hangs, and CPU usage is LOW -- 35% while recording
