You probably don't have AGP drivers for your motherboard
installed. I had this problem until I installed
infinst_enu.exe, which also fixed USB issues. The file is
specific to intel chipset boards like mine. Here's the
link if your board is an intel chipset

You'll find the problem in your system BIOS. Reboot your
computer and tap whatever key you use to get to your
system setup (typically it's the 'DEL' key or maybe 'F10',
it should give you an option.

It gets a bit fuzzy here because all mobo BIOS are a bit
different, but just tab through all your options and look
for something that gives you a video rendering option.
You should only have 2 options, either AGP or PCI. Select
AGP, save and exit, then reboot. That should cover it :)

AGP PCI Mode is a common problem that i find when clients
have reinstalled their computer system without installing
the relevant motherboard drivers, i mainly find this on
VIA and Nforce2 Chipset boards. Once you Install chipset
drivers you will find after reboot it will go away

Hi,
I had a similar problem a few days ago. I installed the
AGP driver from the MOBO CD. How can I check that now my
video card is running through AGP ?
Thanks
Jo
