Hi!

If you select a number of cells using ctrl-<click>
and unlock them (Format>cells> protection) then protect the workshee
(Tools>Protection>Protect sheet), the tab key will move the cursor fro
one unlocked cell to the next.

The order of moving from cell to cell seems more problematic. May nee
a bit of experimentation or more knowledge than I have, but Exce
appears to deal with the cells on a row-wise basis.

Maybe this could help you?

One way to explicitly control the exact "next cell of focus" selection, is
to select the cells in the desired order of travel, and then preserve this
ordered movement by creating a named range.

This old post describes the steps that can be taken to create such a "named
range".
