After automated updates (Vista 64bit) - no more eSATA drive !

Rob

I have a dual boot machine (Win Vista 64bit and Win XP32bit). Until a few
days ago, there was no problem seeing and using all drives including this
external drive connected in eSATA setup.

Now, after the last automated updates in Vista, I no longer see the eSATA
drive (I still see it when I boot under XP - so not a physical connection
issue).

Any insight ?

Thanks,
Rob

There have been quite a few reports of USB related failures after SP1
installation; Microsoft is giving free support for SP1. Check with
their web site for further details.

I suggest that you get the latest ESATA driver from the manufacturer of your
system. Winupdata drivers are often out of date or incompatible with your
system.
