Hi All,

I am looking to purchase a good netbook laptop. I preferably want it small and light but with good specs and able to run mid range computer games at least.

I did a bit of researched and managed to find what I thought was a good deal, a Vaio TZ31MN:TZ Series VGN-TZ31MN - ULV CENTRINO DUAL CORE @ 1.2 GHz / 2GB RAM - 11.1" LED / 100GB - Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

This netbook retailed at £1.500 when it first came out and I bought it second hand but very good condition for £300. However, I have found the laptop extremely slow...it starts up really slow and seems to be slow in every aspect of it's performance and I am not sure why.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone new a better netbook for my needs?

While I am here i would also like to take the opportunity to ask for advice on upgrading my desktop computer which I mainly use for gaming. My desktop specs are below:

Recently I just bought Sins of a Solar Empire Brand new, the disc works on my friends computter but I just tried to play it on mine and the dvd rom won't recognise it as a disc. It makes a funny noise then says please insert a disc. I have cleaned the disc and used canned air in the dvd rom, my other discs work fine. Any ideas?

Many thanks for all your help.
