ADPREP for Win2003 Fails

I

Ian

Hi,

Every time I try to run adprep /forestprep I get the
following error before it even starts doing anything?

ERROR: Failed to transfer the schema FSMO role:52
(Unavailable).

However, I am working on the schema master w2k server, and
the dcdiag tool passes every test - the allow schema
updates is on, and I am a member of the schema admins
group!

Please help!

Hi Ian

When you run adprep/ forestprep on the schema master you get this error
message. These are known as Initial synchronization error messages. I would
like you to check this link

Thanks
