Adobe Photoshop4+Premiere2 Elements in PC World, £69 less £20 Adobe chequeback=£49 - bargain? Time t

Windows Moviemaker has done me OK until now, Avid DV Free is too complex for
my simple brain and has too few export options.
So I saw this Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 + Premiere Elements 2 in PC World
for £49 (after cheque back).
From a bit of Froogling, I've made myself believe that this is one of those
rare PC World things...an actual bargain.

However, £50 is still £50 and I'm more "family/fun" stuff than "pro". What
do people think of the "Elements" versions of these packages?
What I mainly want is PIP and "split screen" transitions, and although I'm
aware than Moviemaker can be extended to do this via transitions, it's not
that eay with one video timeline.

So, should I pay or should I go?

A quick check of Adobe website does not reveal the £20 chequeback offer. How
is it claimed?

Certainly for this price I am very interested.
