Adobe Acrobat 7 ToolBar In Outlook 2003 - Turning it Off

S

srm

I have O2003 WXPP. I justpurchased Adobe Acrobat 7 (had version 6).
For some reason the Adobe toolbar keeps turning itself on even after I
turn it off. DO I need to recreate my "outcmd.dat" file to fix this.

Thanks

Shawn

You might. Deleting that file while Outlook is closed shouldn't have any
detrimental effects.

I asked the same question a couple of months ago and someone (I seem to have
lost the email) provided the following fix:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin]

and change the subkey called "LoadBehavior" from a value of 3 to 0

This will prevent the toolbar from loading.

You know, I just realized that I gave you the fix for Word not
Outlook...here's the fix for Outlook:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\PDFMOutlook.PDFMOutlook]

and change the subkey called "LoadBehavior" from a value of 3 to 0 in both
cases, to stop the toolbars from loading.

Sorry for the mistake and whoever gave me this info...Thanks again!
