Adobe 6.0 hangs up

I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional. In Internet Explorer, when I click a
link that opens a pdf document, it hangs up and I have to go into task
manager to put it out of its misery. A pdf opens fine in Netscape. Is there
some setting in IE that will make it open a pdf??

Thanks, Wayne

Hi,

No, but within Acrobat's preferences there is an option to open within the
browser.

Assuming that you only want to read webpages, not edit them, try installing
the free Acrobat reader, version 7.

I have had some problems loading web-based PDFs into the Full Acrobat (as a
plugin to IE6), but never into the Reader.
