Hi.
I have used ADMT v3 to migrate from a SmallBusiness Server 2003 to sbs 2003
R2.
Everything has gone ok, and the most important for me, users can logon on
the new domain and they keep their profiles.
However I have found a big problem. I had folder redirection for My
Documents. And in the new server there is folder redirection too.
Some users have their My documents redirected to the old server. But if
these users logs on other PCs then they have My documents redirected to the
new server. This seems that some PCs are not being migrated. However, other
users can log on those PCs and they do have My documentes redirected to the
new server.
So, I don't know where is the problem: in the users or the computers.
Every user always use just their computer. So I would like to fix this
problem for those users that don't have My documents redirected to the new
server in their computers (although if these users log on other computers
may have well redirected that folder).
Users can't change manually the folder of My Document, there is not a
button or something to allow them to change it. This is because the
computers are in a domain.
So, how can I fix this? Everything else is right, but due to this problem I
think I will have to join those computers manually to the new domain.
