Administrator User Account

I've accidentally created a password-protected Administrator Account on my
laptop Fujitsu Siemens Amilo when I was trying to sort out two different User
Accounts. Prior to this the machine booted up without any password prompts.
I remember ticking a box that said that access to this account was to be
password protected, and then I stupidly exited the process without actually
entering a new password. Now I can't get back into it using the other (
unknown account type) as it has no administrative rights.

When I look at C:\Documents and Settings, the Administrator folder is empty
- so now I have a 'ghost' on my hands. Is there any way of undoing this?

Cabguy-

First, even though you created a password-protected admin account, the first
user under Windows XP would ALSO have admin privlidges. This is kind of a MS
defect if you asked me... Unfortuantly, you wouldn't be able to use the first
user (admin) account to alter the 'Administrator' account. However, there are
ways you can reset the passwords of all (even admin) accounts. I'd suggest
you get a copy of Hiren's Boot CD. It has a plethora of tools on it; one
being which can change/unlock any password on a Windows XP machine. Besides
that, there are plenty of other great tools on it. Just be careful when
playing around with it. Details can be found here: www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd

Hope that helps some!
