This is my problem, I have a Windows 2000 domain with some Windows 2000 Pro
and Windows XP Pro computers. Every user has local admin rights over there
machine, however, when I try to install the Software for the New Back-UPS CS
500 I get the following message:
You need administrator privileges to run this application. Please log on
using an account that has administrator privileges.
I am a member of the Domain Admins group and if I log into the computer I
can install the software, however, I have four other users that are a member
of Domain Admins and they cannont install the software on any Windows XP
Prof. computer. This is getting me frustrated because it does not make
since. I compared the group policy result with another member of the Domain
Admin group and they were just about the same, however, the other Domain
Admin person was a member of some more Domain Local Groups.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh
