Administrator Password - not accessible

Hi
After reading and trying a number of the answers to the questions about lost
Administrator, unfortunately none work for me.
This computers operating system is XP Pro which had a security "Zenworks" on
it. Therefore the Administrator has been blocked. I cannot use the
password I was told it was. Have tried all sorts of things and the answer I
keep getting is "you must be a member of the Administrators Group on this
computer to open User Accounts. You are logged on as machinename\username,
and this account is not a member of the Administrative Group. There is two
consoles setup. Console and Console1 and therefore have a problem with
Start / Run / mmc and adding my user to the Administrators Group.
Is there any answer to this or will reloading Windows fix the problem.
Thanks

Since you didn't stay in your original thread, I have no idea what the other
answers were or what you've tried. If this is a computer that you received
as used from an office, you should definitely do a clean install of
Windows.

Contacting "Zenworks" tech support for how to lift restrictions created by
that program may be useful. If the built-in Administrator has been
"blocked", changing its password to a blank with a program such as NTpasswd
might not work. However, it may be worth a try.
