Hello:
I hope someone can help me. I am not a novice when it comes to computers,
but I am baffled. Since acquiring the Trojan-Spy.HTML.smitfraud.c trojan,
my computer has been doing weird things. Tonight while cleaning my computer
of this trojan, I noticed that when I start up Windows XP Home, there are
two accounts; my administrator account and an administrator account.
Now I am the only one who uses this computer. I turned off the guest
account and there are no other accounts created on my computer except my
own. When I log off or attempt to switch to another user, the Adminstrator
account does not appear as a choice or at logon; just my account.
Can someone please tell me what is going on, and if there is a way to find
the Administrator account and delete it? I am not sure if this account is
due to compromising my computer, and the culprit set up their own
Administrator account on my computer. Thank You for any and all assistance
or suggestions you can give.
Respectfully
