Administrator access denied - resetting permissions

I was fiddling with my guest account, trying to set it up so my storage drive
could be viewed but not changed.
Now, even logged on as administrator, I cannot view amny of the folders on
this drive. I did not make any changes to individual folders; only to the
drive itself.
Is there an easy way to reset permissions so I, the administrator, can
access all my files again?

I would start by doing a System Restore to before you decided to
"fiddle" and see if that fixes things.

Take a look at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308421&sd=tech#2
on how to take ownership of files and folders
