I want to set up an account for a user that only has
access to one program, the ability to print from that app,
and then log out.

i don't want them to play games, update the system, modify
files and stuff like that. is there anything i can do???

An old trick might be to set the "shell" of that user to the .exe file of the application, instead of explorer.exe.  Not sure how you do that in w2k or Active Directory (if your running it). On 98/95 you used to have to edit the registry keys for that user. Try starting there.  When they quit the app, it should log out.
