ADM for Outlook2002

I am currently trying to find the authentic ADM templates for Office XP off
the net. I found them on another website and am not totally sure they are
good.

I am trying to turn off signatures in Outlook as we are about to implement a
company wide email signature for all users. I have test and got Outlook 2003
to work but not Outlook XP. I am using these adm files (not from Microsoft
website) and can see that the registry settings are actually being applied

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Common\MailSettings "NewSignature" and "ReplySignature"

but no joy. With outlook 2003 there was a hotfix to get the ADMs to work for
signatures. Is ther something similar with Outlook2002?

Howdy!

Office XP ADM templates can be downloaded here:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/orkarchive/xpddl.htm - download the
Office XP Resource Kit. It contains all the files you need.

Not that I knew of. Just give the ADM template above a try. If they
don't work, feel free to come back and let us know!

cheers,

I tested a new GPO with the appropriate Outlook10 adm. Installed all of the
latest office xp SPs and updates on this PC, verified that the registry keys
are being generated
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Common\MailSettings - NewSignature and ReplySignature string

and still the Signature setting is accessible. I tested all this on another
PC and same result. Where to from here?

Help Appreciated.
