Address List

I'm just starting to use Windows Mail - looking for a way to display the
names in my contact list (previously address book) on the "home" page of
Mail, under the folder list, as I used to see them in Outlook Express. It's
much more cumbersome to have to open the contact list, find a name and then
click on the email button. Is that the only way to open a new mail with a
person's name in the To field?

Windows Mail does not have that OE feature of displaying contacts
on the left.
For me, he quickest way to start a new email is to click on Create Mail,
then click on To, then select the recipients.

An alternative is to put the Contacts in the Sidebar, via the Windows Orb
(Start) > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Sidebar then add the Contacts
(and any other gadgets you want) by clicking the plus sign at the top.

Now click on the Contacts ‘shaded’ box and drag it to the Desktop to give a
bigger and better display as an ‘open book‘.
