In Outlook 2003 when composing a new message, once you click on the To: button my contacts appear and it also lists fax numbers. I want it to show only e-mail addresses. Is there any way to do that?

I am also looking for a solution to this problem for a
client.

The users contacts are listing in a doubled format
showing Fax -AND- E-Mail contact information.

She wishes to only see the e-mail addresses.
This has to be a custom view/display formatting issue>
Can anyone help on this?

The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
automatically. Some are listed here:
