Address Book & Contacts

I have a Contacts list in the left pane of Outlook 2003.

However, when I click on the Address Book or click on To: in an E-Mail, I
get a message that the address list could not be displayed.

I have tried the solutions offered in Outlook On-Line to no avail.

Could someone advise how to copy the Contacts list to the Address Book?
