Address Book....Contact List

T

Terry

Using Outlook 2003. When I click on NEW to open a new email and then click
on TO, a dialog box pops up saying the address book could not be displayed,
the Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened,
etc. When I click on the Contacts icon, all of my contacts are displayed.
Can you help me fix this situation?

Russ,

The link you provided showed me how to correct the problem, so thank you.

I have another request: When I click on TO, the contact list is displayed
as First, Last. Please advise how to change this to Last, First. The names
in the Contact folder are displayed as Last, First.

Russ,

Thank you again. Your advice solved the problem regading the Contact list
name sequence.

I have another Outlook problem:

In the Calendar view, Outlook is displaying two Calendar folders both named
"Calendar". The first one does not have any appointments in it. The second
one does. The first is the system default folder and cannot be deleted. How
can the appointments be transferred from the second to the first Calendar
(default) folder so that I can delete the second Calendar folder. I don't
know how this happened and therefore what to do to prevent a recurrence of
this issue.

Just move the items from the second into the default. Use a list view (like
By Category) to select all appointments and then the "Move To Folder"
option.
