One of my users, running Windows 2000, is unable to type locations into his
IE6 address bar unless he puts the full url, including http:// in front of
every address.
The default IE6 behavior is to simply add http:// in front of any location
typed into the address bar. (Thus, if I type "peyser.com" into the address
bar on my IE6 browser, it quickly alters it to read http://peyser.com/). The
user doesn't wish to have to add the additional text in front of each
address, and since no one else here has to, has a point.
Any idea what could be causing this?
