Hello,

All of a sudden, the Address bar where we type the URL is
missing in my browser, even though the Address Bar is
checked on the View - Toolbars.

Please help.

Thanks,

Murali

Have you tried to un-check and re-select it the addressbar
in the view? If you have, did you try to reboot your
machine? I have had this problem before and I had to
reboot and it did return to my screen after that.

Sorry if this seems lame, but I've done it...
Did check for it on other parts of the screen? You may
have to turn off all other toolbars and maximize the
window.
I used to accidentally drag my toolbars out of their
normal position and then they park themselves wherever
they feel like, even offscreen.

If you do find it, use the "lock the toolbars" option to
keep it there :D

Murali,
Close all instances of IE except one
Right-click on the top Toolbar, uncheck: "Lock the Toolbars"
Place the cursor over the "Address" button and click (hold down)
It will change to a 4-way arrow, move or expand the Address Bar to desired
location
Right-click on the top Toolbar, check: "Lock the Toolbars"
Hold down the Ctrl key and close IE

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

Right click the toolbar and make sure that Lock Toolbars is not checked and
that Address Bar is checked.
Grab the handle at the left end of each toolbar and drag them down. One of
them is probably hiding the Address bar.
