Address Bar Input Slow to Respond

When I type an address into my address bar and hit Enter or Click the Go
button, it appears to do nothing, then, 30seconds to a minute later, it
brings up the address I typed in. If I click links or favorites, I'm taken
immediately to the web site.

Anyone else seeing this, or know of a solution?

I'm seeing too and had posted a question the other day and had no responses. Reposted it just a minute ago. It's driving me crazy. From IE it's super slow...via AOL sign on, it goes quicker. Just started happening a few days ago. I've defragged, deleted temp internet files and cookies, virus scan and spybot -no malware. Haven't had this before so not sure what else to look at.

Did your just start happening too? Almost wonder if it's some sort of dns
resolver type of issue. Just know that it takes way to long.

For me, the problem started after I installed the lastest batch of
updates. Here's the list:
KB911562, KB911565, KB890830, KB911567, KB908531, KB912812

Chrono1026 [/B]

I had the same issue. The problem is KB908531. There is an issue with
it and some HP programs. Microsoft offers a solution that involves
changing your registry. However, when I attempted to fix it nothing
happened. Uninstalling the update did fix it.

Exact same problem here.. banging my head against the wall to figure it
out- so glad I found this posting- uninstalling the update worked!

As time permits, I may go through the system to see what HP programs
are on it that are not on any other system in the office... if I find
out, I'll re-post.

Same thing here again with the address bar not working right. How do I
uninstall the update??
