address bar in folder won't display....

help....I can't get the address bar to appear on any of my folder windows....
Tried right-clicking on where the bar should be, and toggling the address
bar on, didnt work ("address" just appears in light grey on the far
right)....Tried going into control panel and folder options window, and
toggling "display full path in address bar" ....didn't work either (still
just get the light grey "address")
help?

Right click in the toolbar area, uncheck Lock Toolbars,
then look for the dotted divider line neat the address
bar, attempt to drag it into position, after thatright
click again and lock the toolbars

Hi -
You helped A-Lo with her toolbar problem, and I'm wondering if mine is the
same problem? The word "address" is greyed out - I can't figure out how I
did this or how to get it back! I tried following your steps for A-lo -
unlocked the tool bar, but didn't see dotted divider lines - are they
vertical? I tried dragging them, but nothing happened. Any idea what else I
should try (or did I not get the directions right) I'd appreciate any help
you can give me - it worked fine for years, and is driving me nuts not to be
able to type in a web page and go to it! Thanks - Kris
