Address bar does not autocomplete

My browser was recently hijacked by CoolWebNews or
something like that. I used CWShredder to remove it and
reset my home page.

Everything works fine now but now when I type something
into the address bar it will not autocomplete the
[http://www] portion of the address.

All I recieve is this: http:///? gamefaqs

I have tried editing the registry and turning on
autocomplete that way.

Still nothing. Any ideas how to reset this?
